About Loro Camp
Loro Camp distributes to Europe only birds from Loro Parque Fundación, in the Tenerife Island (Spain).

Loro Camp team includes exotic animal's veterinary trained at Loro Parque Fundación, renowned psittacine bird's breeders and communication professionals in the pets sector.

In continuous coordination with biologists, veterinarians and specialists from Loro Parque Fundación (the most renowned breeding center in Europe), Loro Camp intended to be a meeting place to share, contemplate, learn, recommend and acquire one of the 356 psittacine species existing in the world too.

Loro Camp project is determined to have a legal and transparent trade of psittacine birds in Europe as the best way to preservate them in the wild.
Loro Camp and Loro Parque Fundación share a firm view relative to correct, controlled and legal captive breeding fight the decrease in the number of them in nature proposing new sustainable ways. At the same time, clear and transparent transactions of the captive bred birds open up the possibility to acquire them in a safely, sustainably and easily manner.

Our facilities are the key
Located in Alicante, the main objective of our facilities is to house the birds temporarily in a hygienic and sanitary under controlled conditions. This is the basis of the guarantees that Loro Camp offers to interested party of parrots in the website.
To that end, we have a care unit headed by a veterinarian with experience in exotic birds. His work is focused on monitoring the parrot health and doing the treatment when necessary.
Once the parrots have left the island to the European continent, the main objective is to give birds rest and to adapt them fastest and safest to their new habitat looking for the way to get the perfect condition to arrive to their permanent home. Once in the continent, moving is easiest and has greater chances of success.
