Origin Africa (Mali, Guinea, Sierra Leone, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Togo, Benin, Nigeria, Cameroon, Chad, Central African Republic, South Sudan, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Sao Tomé and Príncipe, Congo, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Uganda, Angola). Clutch size 5 Sexual maturity 1 – 2 years Ring diameter 4 mm

Interesting facts

The A. pullarius ugandae species exists too. It is interesting the guava qualities. It is too difficult to have good breeding results with them so, if it is tried, the isolated pairs the best. Environmental enrichment: offering nests (with hole in the lower part) or material to get the nest hotter. They like digging the nests.
